This website was last tested on 30th April 2025 by The Health Informatics Service Web Department to WCAG 2.2 AA standard. They used the following approach when deciding on a sample of pages to test:
- Looked at all mediums used on the website, for example text, images, maps, videos and forms, and added at least one page per item to our sample list.
- Always included the homepage.
- Used Lighthouse, Wave, Axe DevTools and ARC Toolkit to audit the sample pages.
- Performed a manual tab and zoom check.
How we checked
The Health Informatics Service Web Department tested this website against the WCAG 2.2 AA standard. Automated tests were performed using Lighthouse, Wave, Axe DevTools and ARC Toolkit to check the accessibility of the website. Errors found were correlated and checked manually. A keyboard tab through and zoom check was also performed. These tests were completed using a Google Chrome browser on Windows 11 with a 16 inch screen.

- 2.1.1 Keyboard (Level A) – The YouTube embed does not include an attribute for a linked element on its interface.
- 2.4.4 Link Purpose (In Context) (Level A) – The YouTube embed does not include link text for a linked element on its interface.
- 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (Level A) - The YouTube and Google Maps embed does not allow an aria-label attribute on a generic role.
- 3.1.1 Language of Page (Level A) - The Google Maps embed does not include a set language on its interface.
- 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (Level A) – A button on the Google Maps embed is missing text content.
- 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum) (Level AA) - There is insufficient colour contrast between the foreground and background of normal text content within the Google Maps embed.
- 1.4.4 Resize Text (Level AA) – The Google Maps embed prevents zooming in/out on mobile and tablet devices.
- 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (Level A) - The Google Maps embed includes a focusable element in its interface, which is defined as presentational.
- 3.3.2 Labels or Instructions (Level A) - The Google Maps embed includes a non-interactive element which has no title.
- 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (Level A) - The Google Maps embed includes multiple naming techniques within the form.
- 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value (Level A) - The Google Maps embed includes an unnecessary tab element within its interface.
